We ask for at least 1โ2 business days' notice for a standard appointment. For initial evaluations (which require more preparation), 3โ5 business days is ideal. We do our best to accommodate urgent needs when possible.
Clear a space of about 6ร6 feet in the room where you'll do therapy. Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Have your insurance card and any referral documents ready. Secure or contain pets. Have a chair nearby for rest periods. That's it โ Dr. Khalil brings everything else!
Yes! Telehealth follow-up sessions are available between home visits. They're great for home program check-ins, exercise form review, caregiver Q&A, and progress monitoring. Telehealth can also be the primary mode for international patients and for those in our Cairo service area who prefer virtual care.
Absolutely โ and we encourage it! Having family members or caregivers present is one of the biggest advantages of home-based PT. Dr. Khalil makes family education a core part of every visit. The more your support system understands what you're working on, the better your outcomes will be.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules. You can call us, email, or cancel directly through the client portal. We understand that medical situations change โ we'll always do our best to work with you.
